We sell a good selection of ropes to meet most of your needs. Below, you will see a variety of rope we carry in stock. Can't find what you are looking for? Call us and ask if we can get what it is you need.

We offer Canadian and import ropes.
Polypropylene
Polypropylene or poly rope is an economical and lightweight general purpose rope mainly used to rope-off areas. Polypropylene rope has the following characteristics:

-
does NOT absorb water.
-
has twice the tensile strength of a manila rope of the same diameter.
-
resistant to mildew, most chemicals, and marine organisms.
-
comes yellow in colour (other colours available upon request).
-
available in sizes 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8" & 3/4".
-
a 3 strand rope construction.

Sold by the spool.
Rope sizes and Spool Lengths
Diameter Spool Length
3/16" 2,125ft.
1/4" 1,300ft.
5/16" 975ft.
3/8" 630ft.
1/2" 335ft.
5/8" 200ft.
3/4" 125ft.
Double Braided Polyester & Nylon
Double braided polyester ropes are a high tensity rope with good abrasion and UV resistance. Polyester's low-stretch qualities make it ideal for use for awnings, flagpoles, bundle ties, and tie-down requirements.
Other positive qualities of this rope include:
-
easy to knot.
-
soft feel on your hands.
-
good abrasion resistance.
-
resistant to rot and deterioration.
-
Stocking diameters include 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" & 5/8".
-
has an impressive stretch resistance.
-
Able to maintain its strength when wet.
-
is the better all-round synthetic rope.
-
Available in Black, White, and Lime Green in colour.

Sold by the foot or in reel lengths.
Polyester
Nylon
Double braided nylon ropes are a high tensity rope with good abrasion and UV resistance. This rope has good shock absorbing properties. Nylon's high elongation properties make it ideal in applications involving shock loads.
Other positive qualities of this rope include:
-
easy to knot.
-
soft feel on your hands.
-
high strength.
-
resistant to rot and deterioration.
-
Stocking diameters include 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" & 5/8".
-
Because of its flexibility, nylon is able to maintain its strength despite withstanding high levels of stress.
Weaknesses:
Nylon is not the best for wet environments. Although nylon is normally a very strong rope, its strength becomes compromised when wet, causing it to sag.
Nylon is not suitable for extremely high temperatures. Though you're likely never going to work under this condition, it is important to note that nylon rope will begin to degrade at 250℉. (Polyester, on the other hand, can’t withstand heat up to 275℉.)

Sold by the foot or in reel lengths.
Manila
Manila rope is a natural fibre rope made using abaca fibres.

Manila rope is very durable and flexible rope, some resistance to salt water damage. However, Manila rope will rot after a period of time when exposed to saltwater.

Manila rope is the strongest natural fibre rope available.

Available in sizes 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8" & 3/4".

Sold by the foot or in full box quantities of 600ft. or 1,200ft.
Size Breaking Strength Full Box Length Weight Per Foot
1/4" 540lbs. 1250ft. 0.02lbs.
3/8" 1,215lbs. 600ft. 0.04lbs.
1/2" 2,385lbs. 600ft. 0.07lbs.
5/8" 3,960lbs. 600ft. 0.13lbs.

Dyneema
-
12 strand Dyneema® is a high strength, high performance synthetic rope. This rope exhibits a low flex fatigue and has a urethane coating for added abrasion protection and UV resistance. Can be used as a winch line and is a perfect replacement to wire rope.
-
Available in black. Other colors available upon request.
-
floats on water.
-
maintains its breaking strength in wet or dry conditions.
-
higher breaking strength than wire rope of equal diameter.
-
great alternative to wire rope in helicopter, arborist, film production, and commercial fishing industries.

Mason Line
Mason twine has a smooth braided jacket that resists abrasion and holds chalk well. The synthetic fiber construction lasts longer than cotton, is resistant to rot, mildew, petroleum products, and most common chemicals.
Mason twine is used when laying patios, building posts, footings, and brick or concrete block walls, roads, or pathways. Using mason twine ensures straight lines and level surfaces when a handheld level, no matter how long, won’t be accurate enough. Our braided mason twine is stronger than a twisted mason twine.

Our Mason Twine comes in a 550 foot, 8 ounce tube.
We stock yellow, but mason twine is available in several other colours including fluorescent pink, Lime green, and White.
